I thoroughly enjoyed using this technology to create and share a story. After exploring the website, it was fairly easy to use, and I certainly think students would be able to use this type of technology to share their work with others. I will definitely be using this technology in my future classroom. I think it is a great alternative to having students write a story, especially if the teacher is primarily looking at the content of the paper, rather than the mechanics, grammar, and usage. I also students may enjoy this method more than they would writing a paper. It is much more creative, and it gives students a fresh perspective of their work. Personally, I realized a few minor errors in my paper as I was reading it aloud to myself, but I could, of course, go back and correct them. I also feel as though students will feel more accomplished and proud of their work, as they have created a new and exciting product. VoiceThread can be used for stories, narratives, and writing, but it can also be used for other assignments, projects, and collaboration.
